new patent US 7,759,306 B2, Methods of Treating Acute Blood Loss.
HemoBioTech has an exclusive worldwide license from Texas Tech
University to commercialize the technology. The new patent
continues to May 16, 2026. The major advance in HemoTech is the
presence of Adenosine which has anti-inflammatory activity.

Cynosure, Inc., developer of the award-winning

El.En. S.p.A, today announced a settlement of their patent
infringement lawsuit against CoolTouch, Inc. Cynosure and El.En.
alleged that CoolTouch's 1320 nm CoolLipoâ„¢ laser
system infringed on El.En.'s U.S. Patent No. 6,206,873 (the 873
patent) licensed to Cynosure, which covers laser technology to
remove subcutaneous fat.
Japanese Patent Office grants Alnylam Pharmaceuticals' claims in second patent application for Tuschl II
Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a leading RNAi therapeutics company,
announced today that the Japanese Patent Office has granted claims
in a second patent application (JP Application Number 2006-317758)
for the Tuschl II patent series, entitled "RNA Interference
Mediating Small RNA Molecules." In May 2008, the Japanese Patent
Office granted a related set of claims in the Tuschl II patent
series (JP 4 095 895).
