Much like two children in the back seat of a car, it can be
challenging to get two catalysts to cooperate for the greater good.
Now Northwestern University chemists have gotten two catalysts to
work together on the same task -- something easily done by nature
but a difficult thing to do in the laboratory. The findings,
published by the journal Nature Chemistry, will allow medicinal
chemists to invent new reactions and produce valuable bioactive
compounds faster with less impact on the environment.

EMBL scientists develop Fly Digital Embryo to film development of fruit fly, zebrafish's eyes and brain
The scientists at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in
Heidelberg, Germany, who 'fathered' the Digital Embryo have now
given it wings, creating the Fly Digital Embryo. In work published
today in Nature Methods, they were able to capture fruit fly
development on film, and were the first to clearly record how a
zebrafish's eyes and midbrain are formed.
Scientists Working on the Hoodia Gordonii
When we talk of nature and its fruits, we know we are talking about
something which is safe and healthy, both at the same time. It is
true that nature is man's best friend for it hardly harms him when
in need. But in today's fast paced world nature has a smaller role
to play with so many new artificial things picking pace. No one
wants to depend up on nature for curing their ailments. They all
wish to see the best doctors who give them the expensive allopathic
medicines to cure their medical problems in minutes and so the
world carry's on this way.
